The Chi Rho symbol is the first 'Christogram' or shorthand for "Christ".  In the ancient Roman Empire, this symbol was used by early Christians to identify themselves and in some cases, do so at the risk of being persecuted.  This is the inspiration for Catacomb Athletic - to identify men who take their faith and fitness seriously.
